Step1: If your dell product is not working call at following number for service 1-800-425-8045 from Monday to Friday.

Step 2: After dialing the no. now you are connected to Dells IVR menu which will give you different options.

Step3: If you have hardware related problem choose option 1, if you want engineer visit or status update choose option 2 and for warranty extensions choose 3rd option. Dell India also provides support to solution providers and if you are Unisys or Dell service providers.
Choose 4th option.

Step 4: if you have pressed 1 to solve hardware related problem the IVR will give you further assistance. If you have problem in desktop again choose option 1 and if you problem in notebook choose option 2 and if you have problem related to server, storage and workstation choose option 3 and last option which is 4 is for projector related queries.

Dell India introduced new storage area network (SAN) Array

Growing small and medium businesses are quickly reaching a breaking point in their ability to store and manage all the data being created. The industry has presented SMBs with two options for storage: either buy a basic storage solution that lacks capacity and basic software or buy a 'de-featured' product originally designed for large businesses. So it either doesn't do enough, or it costs too much.

Keeping in mind such kind of business pains, Dell India introduced newest storage area network (SAN) array, the MD3000i, a simplified storage consolidation solution designed specifically for SMB customers.

Speaking to itVARnews, Pallab Talukdar, Director-Enterprise Business, Dell India said, "We are changing the economics of storage by delivering three key features to our SMB customers i.e. simplicity, capability and affordability. We are focused on IT simplification by offering the best technology available with reduced cost of ownership. The MD3000i is a perfect example of how we drive out costs, drive up functionality, and drive industry adoption of technologies and standards to meet customer needs."

The Dell MD3000i is an easy-to-use, expandable iSCSI SAN array leveraging the modularity and availability of the Dell Modular Disk series. It provides a simplified solution - from installation to ongoing maintenance and management to powerful performance and the ability to grow as a business grows.

The vendor is targeting specific segments such as SMB, enterprises, government, education, remote sites and corporates with branch offices. The new MD3000i range can store up to 18 terabytes data across 45 drives and would cost less than three lakhs for 1 terabyte capacity.

Dell India will be leveraging on its direct model to push it further in the market. "We do see need for channel for targeting different market segments but at this point of time we would be going 100 percent direct. We are growing significantly faster than the market and are targeting three times faster growth than market."

The Indian external disk storage market is growing at 26 percent YOY growth.
